Dear Corinthia Guests,
As we navigate through these challenging months, we remain optimistic of an eventual recovery in the communities in which we live and do business. Gradually, and always in line with directives from local authorities, we are planning to reopen or scale back operations in our hotels. We are of course returning to a new order, within timescales dependent on local circumstances and directives, but one for which we are well prepared with protocols focusing on health and hygiene in all aspects of our operation. Most importantly, we will be waiting at the door to welcome you back with warmer and brighter smiles.
I know that my colleagues across so many countries are as enthusiastic as ever to get back to work and welcome you into our hotels.
We have new flexible reservation policies across all our hotels, so please check your individual rate when you are booking.
When you are ready to travel, we are here to welcome you back safely at Corinthia Hotels.
Best wishes,
Simon Naudi
CEO

Corinthia Budapest Update – April 2021
Those arriving for business, economic or educational purposes can still visit without an immunity certificate, but in this case wearing a mask is obligatory in all public areas of the hotel, and they may not visit the wellness and fitness facilities. If they have an immunity certificate issued by the Hungarian government, then of course this does not apply to them.
Upon arrival, our receptionist is obliged to check the immunity certificate of the check-in person, and if this is not provided, the hotel is obliged to refuse check-in and send the guest away. In this instance, the cancellation policy of the booking will apply. Your immunity certificate must be cross-checked against an identity card, driving licence or passport.
In the case of persons under the age of 18, an identity card or a student card may also be requested in order to prove age, unless it is obvious that the person is a child.
Holders of a Hungarian government immunity certificate are not required to wear a mask on the hotel grounds. The hotel also accepts immunity certificates from countries with which Hungary enjoys a travel corridor. This list can change at any time, please check the official Hungarian government website for the most up to date list. If mask requirements change, we will inform you in advance of your arrival.
Wellness and fitness facilities may only be visited by a person with a immunity certificate and a person under the age of 18 under their supervision. Those arriving for business, education or economic purposes who do not have a certificate may not make use of these premises.
A family or private event can be held or organized at the accommodation, if the number of participants does not exceed 10 people and everyone over the age of 18 has an immunity certificate. However, playing music or dancing is not permitted at this time.
